6 No-Cook Desserts

There’s no need to pass on dessert when the temperature rises. Instead of sweating it out in the kitchen, opt for these sweet (and better-for-you) recipes with no cooking required.

No-Bake Cookies

Sometimes it’s even better to not have cookies warm out of the oven. These peanut butter-y clusters are filled with raisins, oats, coconut and flax.

Scream for Ice Cream

Try a healthy spin on a sundae classic, complete with all the fixings. Instead of containing the typical 800-plus calories, these parfaits come in at a much more reasonable 360 calories per serving.

Bars

The naturally sweet flavor and sticky texture of dates brings (and holds) these bars together with the pleasant crunch of pistachios. Simply combine the ingredients in a food processor, then press into a pan, chill and slice.

Fruit and Dip

All you need is a fun dip to dress up fresh fruit for dessert. Try a flavored yogurt, or go for something a little more exciting and combine dry ingredients for a sweet, salty and spicy mixture.

Decadent Shake

Blend frozen fruit with OJ and Greek yogurt for a smoothie that tastes like a Creamsicle, only much better for you.
