5 Top Restaurant Nutrition Calculators

Chain restaurants with more than 20 locations are required to post their menus’ nutrition information online for all patrons to peruse, but some joints make it a lot easier than others. Here are five dining establishments that make it a breeze.

1. Starbucks

What has more calories: a venti cappuccino made with 2 percent milk or a grande skim caffĂ© mocha with whipped cream? I can’t be the only one who gets confused, can I? This coffee giant has well-organized, drop-down menus to make easy adjustments for size, milk options and other add-ins. Results are easily downloadable, and the entire menu is also viewable as pretty images so you can quickly identify your favorites.

2.  Chipotle

Just how many calories and grams of fat does that extra sour cream, guacamole and cheese add to your favorite burrito, salad or rice bowl? The Chipotle calculator is a pleasant experience that can help you make sensible choices. Folks with allergies can even filter the menu options with one click — how refreshing!

3. Panera Bread

This restaurant’s extensive menu can be difficult to navigate. A few clicks and you can view nutrition information, plus full ingredient and allergen lists. Check out items with a “power” label for some of the healthiest picks.

4. Burger King

What will an entire fast-food meal cost you in the calorie department? This calculator lets you customize your options (mayo or no mayo), plus add other foods to your meal to get a total for the whole shebang!

5. Bareburger

This smaller franchise features many options beyond beef burgers, including elk, bison and black bean, plus unique spreads like tomato fig jam and cauliflower hummus. The website offers an easy step-by-step selection of each portion of the menu that automatically updates a viewable food label with all of the nutrition numbers and ingredients. You can add your creation to a meal, print the results or even share your meal on social media! How cool is that?
